Switching Gears for 2012!
Well I've made a switch for the new year. After getting my hands on a brushless 1/8 scale buggy last month, it made me consider jumping out of the 2wheel game. I've always love racing 1/8 scale anyways. It just became such a difficult class to run without anyone there to help you. But the fact that's its electric eleminates the need of a partner/pit person. After offloading the Kyosho SC-R and the RB5 I got myself none other than the beautiful, well crafted and geniusly designed Serpent Cobra Be.

Happy New Year!!
Welcome to a new exciting year of r/c racing. With the new year comes new challenges and new adventures. To start it off I've decided to thin the herd quite a bit. I will cut my cars down to a maximum of three. I will race no more than two at any event. This decision is inspired by a video blog I ran across on Tyler Perry's website. I will post the message a little later on.

New Year, New Direction!
Well I was giving the opportunity to wheel one of the cars that I have had my eye on since June of last year when there were only CAD drawings of it.
It is the Serpent Cobra Be, which is an electric 1/8 scale buggy. I thought to myself when I first saw the drawings "that's the way it should be done". While I was wheeling this beast I couldn't hold back the urge to just push it more and more each lap. This car is so balanced that it almost drives itself. It was just point and shoot. The car turned so well you would think that it was on rails. Uhh ohh! Here we go again ;-)

New Parts Ordered!!!!
Well I haven't put the 4x4 on the track yet and I have already been advised to buy an upgrade part. So I've just ordered a set of sway bars (front & rear). From what I've read, they are a must in order to make this beast race worthy. We'll see! Also while I was at it, Kyosho just released Big Bore shocks for the RT5/SCR. So I went on and ordered some. As far as springs go (since the shocks doesn't come with any at all) I decided to go with the super hard up front and med hard on the rear per the advice of a fellow racer named Rodney B.
